SEATTLE AREA MACHINE SHOP
Tolt Machine Works is a 30,000-sq-ft machine shop located within the Tolt Industial Complex 30 miles east of comSeattle in Carnation, WA. Tolt Machine Works is a complete machine shop that focuses on the increasing need for large, high-precision components of complex shape for a wide range of applications and industries such as aerospace, naval, and military craft; scientific research and engineering test, wind, hydroelectric, and nuclear power; as well as precision tooling and fixtures for a wide range of manufacturing.
PHASE 1: We have currently completed phase one of our Seattle area machine shop and have the following capabilities available:
DEA lambda CMM -- measurement stroke of X=500"(12.7m), Y=160"(4.06m), Z=100"(2.54m)

(Summer 2012) PHASE 2:Tolt Machine Works is currently expanding its phase 2 machine shop capabilities.Tolt Machine Works will install CNC machinery, two electron beam welding units, as well as a laser micromachining machine shop facility to round out our offerings later this year.
(Winter 2012) PHASE 3: In 2012, Tolt Machine Works will start installing two 5-axis horizontal boring machines. One of the milling machines, from the German manufacturer Waldrich Siegen, will provide a machining volume of X=300” (7.65m) by Y=96” (2.4m) by Z=96” (2.4m). Additionally there is a 120” (3m) diameter B-axis rotary table. The articulating headstock also provides an A-axis of +/- 135 degrees with a boring spindle of 6.3”(160mm).
